ABOUT US
Prizer S.A. is an Argentinean company dedicated to the processing of cattle byproducts derived from the main meat plants in the country, manufacturing high quality bovine proteins from those raw products.
The companies that provide our raw materials, as well as our own plants within them, help us achieve an increased quality in our products, which are permanently monitored under strict operations procedures controlled by the Health and Agriculture and Food National Quality Control Service (S.E.N.A.S.A.), a strict Argentinean official organization with jurisdiction over the whole country, thereby ensuring that the processed byproducts come exclusively from healthy animals, sanitarily inspected before and after they’re slaughtered.
Prizer S.A. exclusively manufactures 100% pure bovine proteins, without any other animal proteins mixed in. Our products, like Argentinean meats, are all free of diseases, such as B.S.E. (Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy), carbuncle, aphthous fever, etc.
The high health quality of these bovine proteins allowed us, from the very beginning of our operations, to export them to different countries throughout the world, even the most developed ones regarding porcine and poultry production, besides being sold within the Argentinean market to the main domestic production companies and industries, all of them with strict sanitary and quality standards.
The collection, handling and all operations involving raw materials and final products are located within the facilities of the slaughter plants, and executed daily, 24 hours around, with Prizer S.A.’s own staff and equipment, therefore guaranteeing the best quality throughout the whole process.
The health and quality standards under which production is done, allow Prizer S.A. guarantee our customers the delivery of genuine and natural products, without additives, of an excellent quality, such as protein flours, dehydrated plasma and hemoglobin, all of them with an excellent profile of essential amino acids.
All our products have a high content of highly digestible animal proteins, some of them destined to animal feeding of varied species, such as pork, poultry, pets and fish among others.
In the specific case of porcine cattle, the dehydrated bovine plasma is an irreplaceable nutritional element for young porcine animals, contributing through its high content of immunoglobulin, to reinforce natural defense against typical diseases. Another important use, as in the bovine hemoglobin, is as fundamental nutritional element in the pet food industry, in its Premium and Super Premium segments.
Prizer S.A. also manufactures edible bovine blood albumin, which is used in manufacturing human food as a functional additive widely used in the meat industry, due to its proven qualities of jellification, among other important protein-related contributions.
PRODUCTS
Processing and description of the Product
Prizer brand dehydrated bovine plasma is manufactured from fresh bovine blood, without any additional species mixed in, and obtained in a hygiene-efficient way from sanitarily selected specimens, pre and post-slaughter, performed exclusively in plants controlled by the official health organization, the Health and Agriculture and Food National Quality Control Service (S.E.N.A.S.A.).
The dehydration process used in this manufacturing is called “spray atomization”, and consists of pulverizing the plasma counter-current with a dry and hot air flux, which causes its immediate dehydration. Through this modern technological system, a very high nutritional product is obtained, by avoiding the destruction of essential amino acids from heating.
Applications
Prizer dehydrated plasma, obtained and processed in the high quality conditions described before, is a high value nutritional element for porcine species. Because of its high immunoglobulins contents, it is especially recommended for young age porcine cattle, particularly in the stages prior, simultaneous and following the time they stop breastfeeding, since those are moments in which the animal suffers from increased stress, with natural defenses diminished, and therefore needing their replacement.
Another use for plasma, also of great importance, is its use as an additive in the pet food industry
Advantages
Plasma, directly applied to cattle feeding, is a considerable nutritional addition for porcine cattle, made with animal proteins, with large amounts of highly digestible essential amino acids.
Its soft and characteristic flavor is extremely attractive to animals and it increases the ration’s palatability, achieving important increments in its consumption, thus increasing cattle weight.
As used in the pet food industry, plasma used as an additive, adds an excellent nutritional value with high digestibility, while substantially improving the look and preservation of the products, and increasing their juiciness and gloss.
It also increases the performance of the used meat, significatively reducing cooking lows. The use of plasma as an additive does not require modification of any of the formula components.

Blood Flour
Bovine blood flour desiccated via spray method, manufactured from whole fresh blood obtained from slaughter within SENASA (Health and Agriculture and Food National Quality Control Service)-approved plants. It’s manufactured with high standard of quality, traceability and strict hygiene control to guarantee absence of pathogens.
Applications:
Poultry: Incorporate Prizer S.A. in 2- 3% to balanced food. The inclusion of this product yields positive effects in weight gaining, conversion index and food consumption.
Porcine Cattle: Prizer S.A. is a choice product in formulas of balanced food for porcine cattle, mainly piglets, due to its high protein content, with high nutritional and digestion profile.
Its high available iron content (2200 mg/kg) aids in covering the daily needs of piglets. It can be added as 2-3% of the full diet.
Fish: High nutritional value ingredient in diets for fish and shrimp. Due to its highly monitored manufacturing system, it’s positioned as one of the main alternative raw materials to replace fish flour in high protein requirement diets and presents very good digestibility, mainly in salmonids where vegetable protein inclusion is limited.
Addition (5%) of Prizer S.A. in fish diets yields improvement in the daily weight gain and alimentary conversion.
Pets: Being non-allergenic and highly palatable and digestible, it is a choice protein fountain for Premium foods.

Bovine Dehydrated Hemoglobin
Prizer Bovine Dehydrated Hemoglobin is manufactured from fresh blood obtained within hygiene control standards, from sanitarily selected animals prior to and after their slaughter, exclusively in government regulated plants. The dehydration process used is called “spray atomization”, and consists in the pulverization of the hemoglobin, countercurrent to a flux of hot dry air, which causes its dehydration.
Through this system, an extremely high nutritional quality product is obtained, avoiding destruction of essential amino acids due to heating.
Applications
Prizer dehydrated hemoglobin is used in animal nutrition. Its important protein content, adds a vitally important energetic value to porcine cattle, poultry, fish and pet foods.
It can be used directly as part of the ration in porcine, poultry or fish feeding, or as an ingredient of processed pet food, extruded or in sausage form.
It’s also used as natural fertilizer for organic crops, to enrich barren soils, with a remarkable residual effect.
Advantages
The proteins supplied by hemoglobin, of a high energetic value, are extremely digestible for the aforementioned animal species, with an easy incorporation and high absorption.
Adding them to porcine or poultry food mixes incorporates an important amount of animal protein, and complements their vegetable basic formulas. Adding them to industrialized pet food, a great improvement of color and protein content of the products is achieved.
